Scientist 1, Analytical Chemistry Development - Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences

• Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products.
• Support current projects in research & development and pilot-scale manufacturing.
• Focus will be on analytical chemistry work and / or in vitro biology work using instruments in the lab.
• Execute technical and cross-functional project work.
• Follow and execute on standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods.
• Coordinates and supports maintenance activities of lab as required.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science.
• Experience / understanding of working in a lab. Lab work experience a strong plus.
• Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong ability to learn.
