Scientific Publications Coordinator Intern - Merz North America, Inc

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Publications Coordinator.  You will be working closely with the global publications team in the implementation of the publication management software and updating the platform with published Merz-sponsored literature.      

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Set up planned and ongoing publications for Global Merz Ax-sponsored clinical studies and other literature in the publication management system to outline the lifecycle of the project from concept to publication.
• Connect with internal authors to gather information into a central repository.
• Update the publications repository with published Merz Ax-sponsored studies.
• Collaborate with medical writers and other contributors to ensure content aligns with organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications:     

• Preferred:

  • Experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical preferred
  • Experience managing SharePoint sites
  • Experience managing Publications Management software and platforms
  • Knowledge of publications best practices and processes
  • Experience with project management

Education:

• Required:

  • Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (Cellular Biology, Life Sciences or a related field)

• Preferred:

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Cellular Biology, Life Sciences,  or a related field)
