Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
Develop and execute personalized speech therapy plans and objectives tailored to individual student requirements.
Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and voice enhancement.
Foster strong partnerships with teachers, parents, and support personnel to ensure holistic support for students' speech and language development.
Track and document student progress meticulously through data collection and analysis.
Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise to goal setting and program development.
Provide guidance and mentorship to paraprofessionals and fellow team members.
Stay abreast of the latest best practices and research findings in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
Possession of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid California state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is highly desired.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to thrive in a remote/virtual work environment.
Familiarity with pertinent laws and regulations governing special education.
