The Learning House, a private therapeutic day school located in Wheeling, IL serving junior and high school students, is seeking a School Therapist (LSW/LCSW/ LCPC/LMFT) with strong clinical skills in the areas of individual, family and group counseling to join our staff. The Learning House is a year-round program for students who have been determined eligible to receive special education services in the categories of ED/LD/OHI and Autism. Job Description:

The School Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical individual and group counseling to students throughout the day and has a caseload averaging 8-10 students. The School Therapist reports directly to the Clinical Director and Executive Director and works collaboratively with administrators, counselors, parents, and teachers to implement the program and facilitate student growth and change in this year-round program. This listing is for a Part-time position (25 hours/wk), with the potential to move to full-time employment.
