Participate actively in team meetings and consultations to share insights and strategies for student growth.
Qualifications:
Recent experience in school settings, demonstrating a passion for educational support.
Education: Completion of a graduate degree (master's, specialist, or doctoral) in school psychology or a related field from an accredited institution. Your program should meet Ohio state standards and include a practicum or internship.
Certification/Licensure: Massachusetts requires licensure through the MA Department of Education to work as a School Psychologist in public schools. This involves completing an approved program, passing required exams, and meeting other state-specific requirements.
Field Experience: Completion of supervised field experience or internship hours, often as part of the graduate program requirements, is necessary for certification.
Background Check: Applicants typically need to undergo a criminal background check as part of the certification process.
