General Responsibilities
The School of Pharmacy invites you to apply to our Laboratory Technician position within the Department of Medicinal Chemistry. The candidate will be involved and conduct research tocharacterize small molecule compounds using biochemical, biophysical, andmolecular biology techniques to develop therapeutics for neurodegenerativedisorders
Minimum Hiring Standards:
- The School of Pharmacy supports a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment. The candidate is required to show demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse environment
- BS Biochemistry or Molecular biology
- Two year’s laboratory work experience
- Knowledge of safe laboratory practices
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented with excellent written communication skills.
Preferred Hiring Standards
- Experiences in biochemical andmolecular biology skills and assays.
- Experiences in proteinexpression/purification
Salary Range: $36,000-$40,000
