Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Delaware.
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy assessments and interventions for school-age children.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth in the field of occupational therapy.
Compensation: $35-$38/hr
Schedule: 37.5hrs/week
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop therapy plans for students referred for occupational therapy services.
- Provide direct therapy addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and team members to implement strategies supporting students' functional performance.
- Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and document outcomes.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to students' educational goals.
- Provide consultation and recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
