School LPN - GHR Education

Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Part Time Float Nurse

GHR is currently hiring a nurse for the remainder of the 2023/2024 school year into the summer and next school year.  We have partnered with the Berks County Intermediate Unit to assist in their MDS classrooms throughout the county. Time to acclimate to the classroom is available and will have the option to return each year either through GHR or if hired by the IU directly!

Job Details

• Shift Time: 8A - 3:30P Monday through Friday
• Nurse for the Head Start programs and to help in supporting the Health/Nutrition Specialist position.
• Nurse will also be expected to travel to various local classrooms as needed
• Assist with health screenings, obtaining emergency plans and medications, document health needs, etc.
• Looking for someone who will be a team player and is adaptable to change
• GHR DOES NOT require our nurses to sign a non-compete clause! Not limited to where you can work

Job Requirement

• PA Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) of 1 year or greater
• At least 1 year of experience working as a nurse either in a school nurse's office or pediatric setting.
• Must be confident to work hands on with special needs children.
