Ready Set Connect is seeking dedicated individuals to join us as an ABA Therapist. In this role, you will provide one-to-one assistance to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within a vibrant and supportive group environment.
The primary responsibility of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to enable the student to reach his/her fullest potential, documents delivery, Individual Education Plan (IEP), assessments, individual students skills assessment, and behavior support. Additional hours are available in the afternoons and during school vacations in our Manchester Center.
Expectations
- Report to assigned school and work with the classroom and/or student as directed by the school principal/assistant principal.
- While in the school setting, staff report to the classroom teacher they are assigned to.
- A RSC BCBA will be assigned to RBTs working in the school to fulfill the 5% supervision requirement placed by the BACB.
- Follow expectations placed by the administration & special education teams.
- Collaborate with educational team members (special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists
- Read & understand behavior plans / protocols created by the special education team.
- Flexibility with assignments, specifically in situations where students are absent, or staff resources need to be allocated elsewhere.
- Represents Ready Set Connects core values & maintains a positive relationship with school districts.
- Provide additional support to classroom staff during behavior incidents.
Requirements
ABA Therapist Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience working with individuals with Autism is not required, but a plus!
ABA Therapist Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to keep students safe from themselves and others and in some cases may need to implement Safety Care procedures.
- Must be able to remove oneself from potentially harmful situations and in some cases be able to lift a child.

Starting Rate: $23.00 per hour
Typical Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
