Spectrum360 is a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving children, teens, and adults with autism and related disabilities. With locations in Livingston, West Orange, Verona, and Whippany, the organization operates two NJDOE-approved, award-winning academic programs, Academy360 Lower and Upper schools, serving children from ages 3-21; Independence360, an adult services program approved by the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities and the NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation which provides day habilitation and prevocational training for adults over age 21; and two enrichment programs in culinary and digital arts.

ACADEMY360 SCHOOL COUNSELORS AND SOCIAL WORKERS:
Implement the goals and objectives for each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) who receives individual, paired, or group counseling
Lead in-class social skills groups to teach Spectrum360’s Social Skills Curriculum
Provide support and consultation to families, including facilitating and co-leading parent support groups
Refer students and families to appropriate outside treating professionals, including psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, neurologists, etc.
Together with a team of related services specialists, you foster the student’s personal growth in cognitive, social/emotional, and language by implementing and following Individual Education Plan (IEP), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and Positive Behavior Supports (PBS).
QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold NJ School Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist certification
Demonstrated Experience with ASD population and ABA, preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of individual and group counseling, social skills training, consultation, parent support/training, and knowledge of the Individualized Education Plan development process
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
All candidates are required to complete a criminal history check and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
