Position Title: School Bus Driver (2023-24SY)
Location: 1460 E. Forest, Detroit, MI 48207
Reports To: Campus Director of Operations
F.T.E: Full Time
Start Date: April 2024
Compensation: Starting at $35,000 based on experience and other credentials

Position Description:
Distinctive Schools is looking for a Bus Driver that will share a commitment to ensuring that every child is transported safely and receives support to ensure their full potential:

Pick up students at stops along established routes and drop them off at school and designated after-school location

Transport students and faculty to special events, such as field trips or sporting event
Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must possess physical ability to perform all required work

Maintain a professional relationship with supervisors, staff, parents, students and the public

Work independently and in teams to complete job duties and assignments in a timely manner with limited supervision

Commercial Driver's License (CDL-B)

Passenger Endorsement, School Bus Endorsement, Air Brakes Endorsement

Successful background check

Good driving skills and record
