Job Description: As a school-based BCBA with Dragonfly ABA, you'll work closely with students, school staff, and families to design and implement effective behavior intervention plans within school settings. Your role will focus on conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment. With a mix of direct service and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BCBA candidates, you'll contribute to students' educational success and emotional growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) & Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Conduct comprehensive assessments in the school environment and develop tailored behavior intervention plans that address each student's unique needs.
Behavior Intervention Implementation: Lead the delivery of evidence-based ABA interventions in collaboration with school personnel to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Training & Collaboration: Train and guide teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff on ABA strategies, supporting consistent implementation throughout the school day.
Supervision of RBT/BTs: Oversee and mentor RBT/BTs working in school settings, ensuring high standards of service delivery and data fidelity.
Data Collection & Progress Monitoring: Maintain detailed records, track student progress, and evaluate and adjust behavior plans as needed.
Stay Current on ABA Best Practices: Participate in ongoing research and professional development to apply the latest ABA methodologies and techniques.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience working as a BCBA. Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Certification: Active BCBA certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with clients across various age groups and settings (e.g., school, home, clinical environments).
Additional ABA-related certifications or specialized training in behavior management techniques (such as SKIP or CPI).
Skills & Competencies:
Strong expertise in ABA methodologies with a focus on school-based applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with teachers, admin, and school staff.
Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team structure.

Compensation: Starting pay rate of $80-$95 per hour for part-time employees, with opportunities for bonuses and incentives based on performance for full-time salaried employees.
