Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator - Bristal Assisted Living

This role would handle the Scheduling of Nursing Staff within two of our local communities.

Duties Include:

• Coordinate & plan staff schedules, taking staff needs into consideration.
• Coordinating all staffing requirements and scheduling of Resident Care Aides-HHA, Medication Aides and LPN Supervisor's working within the community.
• Patiently deal with last minute changes in scheduling.
• Deal with staff call-outs appropriately by following proper protocol.
• Assist with recruitment needs by advising Business Office Manager of open positions.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Resident Services Director and Executive Director

Requirements Include:

• Should have excellent computer skills (MS word, excel, outlook etc.)
• Background & experience in staffing and scheduling required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are required.
• Candidates should be Highly Organized, Professional & Motivated.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multitask & prioritize.
• Able to work well independently & as part of a team.
• Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Previous experience in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living or Community based Healthcare Environment a big plus
