About the Job
The Garden Care Center is looking for a talented and hard-working Staffing Coordinator to join our ever-growing team.
The Garden Care Center is a facility with 150 beds and is proud of their state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Gym servicing 40 + short term beds. Our Garden Care Center team consists of 20+ Therapists spanning 20 years of experience with backgrounds in acute, sub-acute, long term and outpatient settings would provide an excellent setting for learning and growth. The Garden Care Center provides Rehabilitation services 7 days per week.
Responsibilities Include:
· Create and post schedules for nursing department, track and post changes and approve trades.
· Maintain timely records of call-out, late and early arrivals to work and coordinate with HR daily to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
· Track staff vaccination status
· Monitor and minimize staff overtime
· Contact and schedule agency staff, if applicable, to cover open shifts as a last resort.
· Provide accurate reports to the DON relating to staffing, vacancies or agency use.
· Keep accurate record of all PTO and change requests
· Experience working with time sheets as well as HR functions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Graduate of an accredited high school or GED
· Computer knowledge required
· Experience in long term care with scheduling, HR and payroll
· Ability to effectively communicate with others
Shift - 9a - 5pm
