We are in search of an astute Scheduler who can weave together the various threads of our direct care services into a harmonious tapestry of purposeful action.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, create, and manage staff schedules for all areas of direct care, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient allocation of resources.
• Liaise closely with department heads, such as Education, Recreation, and Youth Care, to understand specific staffing requirements and constraints.
• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts, ensuring minimal disruptions to services and optimal staff satisfaction.
• Update and modify schedules in real-time as unforeseen circumstances arise, such as absences, emergencies, or changes in daily routines.
• Monitor adherence to schedules, ensuring punctuality and accountability from all staff members.
• Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize the rostering process and facilitate effective communication of schedules to all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HR and management to understand staffing capacities, vacancies, and anticipated changes in workforce numbers.
• Provide regular reports and insights on staffing patterns, highlighting areas for potential improvement or efficiency gains.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Proven experience in scheduling, workforce management, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and tools.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, making quick yet informed decisions.
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is an advantage.
