This person will join SCADA and MV90 support team where he/she will be responsible for operational support on critical system, doing analysis, configuration, implement and improve SCADA systems. You will analyze system requirements and address any relevant problems. Perform standard troubleshooting to system, solutions to ensure high levels of performance and security. This person will be responsible for supporting applications and servers. He/she will join team and assist with the upgrade and conversion of servers to a new operating system. They will be analyzing applications and systems for SCADA. They are responsible for maintaining applications and servers. take phone calls about issues, communicate to leadership team about status. There is an on-call 24/7 for one week at a time that happens once every three-four weeks. Other responsibilities include maintaining our core SCADA system and plant telemetry for minimal down time, configuring plant telemetry for new assets to provide visibility and monitoring capabilities for both internal and external customers, and provide solutions to customer data inquires

Job Purpose Summary:
• Ensure the NEE SCADA system, specifically for NEER, meets the organization’s SLA uptime requirements. When critical issues occur assist in coordination and resolution of the RCA (Root Cause Analysis). If SLA cannot be met, coordinate with the team to reduce the severity of the event. This includes communication and coordination with onshore and offshore resources and 3rd party vendors and contractors. Communicate with all members of the SCADA support team of outstanding issues and areas needing attention. Backfill documentation and procedures when new functionality is determined to be affective.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Related Field Desired
o 3 - 5 years of experience in a combination of the following areas:
o 2 years of understanding of server architectures, Operating Systems (Windows/LINUX/Unix).
o 2+ years identifying, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems using critical thinking and analytical skills in fast paced environment preferred.
o Understanding or project life cycles (Waterfall and Agile).
o Working knowledge of server operating systems and virtual environments.
o Understand SAN and Database technologies (EMC/Oracle, MS SQL) performance and communications.
o Experience with network and file p1rotocols including HTTP, SFTP, XML, HTML, Modbus, REST, and SSH.
o Understanding of networking concepts (firewalls, routers, switches).
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/SharePoint.
o Motivated individual, who can work independently and in a team.
o Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Job Functions:
• Monitor SCADA support systems and assist in outage events
• Assure the continuous operation of the SCADA environment
• Supports and monitors production and stage environments and applications to assure a minimal outage to all SCADA applications
• Improves speed, efficiency and stability of deployment and production environments
• Creates appropriate documentation
• Makes recommendations for improving existing architecture
• Participates and plans disaster recovery testing and implementation
• Participates in regular staged releases to production and other environments as needed
• Works in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of employees, clients and/or vendor
• Analyze historical alarm logs to assure efficient resolution
• Cross train others in group on new application environments and practices

Additional Skills & Qualifications
This role is on-site 5x per week - this is a 12-hour shift with 12 hours off between shifts. They will work 3 days on and a few off. It will be 40 hours per week. They are a part of a 24/7 rotation
Any engineering or telemetry experience is a plus because this system is Supervisory control and data acquisition is a control system architecture comprising computers, networked data communications and graphical user interfaces for high-level supervision of machines and process
