Our West Point, VA location is searching for a saw shop filer. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our team.. If you have experience with tool and die or machine shop experience, you might be a good fit for this role.

Saw Shop Filer Pay & Benefits:

• First Shift
• Full Time Hours
• Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Pay $17/hour - $28/hour

Saw Shop Filer Responsibilities:

• Sharpening, repairing and maintaining band saws
• Sharpening chipper knives and maintaining gang guides
• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Ability to work independently
• Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
• Welding saw cracks & broken teeth
• Leveling & tensioning band saws
• General maintenance of saw filing equipment

Saw Shop Filer Qualifications:

• We are looking for ANYONE with tool and die or machine shop experience
• Saw shop experience is preferred, but not mandatory
• Must be self motivated and organized
