Saw Operator - Element Materials Technology

Element HB is searching for a self-motivated, mechanically inclined person to add to the Machine shop.  This role will be responsible for operating various Machine Shop equipment in the production process.

Shift hours - 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Salary: $18-$23/hr + $1.00 Shift Diff once on 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

• Willing to train the right candidate
• Set-up, Operate and Monitor machinery to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner, including machining a variety of samples to close tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals
• Select, Align, and Secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines
• Ability to use of machine tools and inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers

• HS diploma or GED required
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Previous shop experience a plus
• Technical/vocational training in related field a plus
• WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
