Position Summary: Position is accountable for supporting the GDO Operations team in delivering Client's clinical development portfolio. The role will primarily drive strategic data reporting activities across governance, functional KPI and performance metrics, financial planning and resource management, and ad-hoc business requests. The role may need to partner across functions outside of GDO such as Drug Development Portfolio Strategy and Operations and IT.
Position Responsibilities:
The position may include, but not be limited to the following activities:
• Develop materials in support of operational governance reviews (e.g. slides, reports)
• Meeting management & support. This may include maintaining SharePoint, material collection, in-meeting facilitation, meeting minutes and tracking action items
• Support the creation and assessment of operational and portfolio-level information for proactive management of the book of work as well as strategic and tactical decision-making
• Deliver metrics, KPIs, functional reporting of operational performance to GDO leadership
• Deliver insight driven analyses of operational or business performance data to GDO leadership
• Partnering across the broader organization on evolution of GDO analytical needs
• Assist Business Operations team members to drive successful delivery of key initiatives
• Support other key business operations tasks, analyses and deliverables as required
Degree Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience Requirements:
5+ years
Key Competency Requirements:
• Experience working with operational clinical trial data
• Understanding of biopharmaceutical industry, clinical trial conduct, regulatory and safety processes, and the external and internal Business Environment
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulations
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a matrixed environment
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Ability to work with large data sets and generate action-oriented insights
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (i.e. excel, tableau, story telling though data)
• Experience in preparing content for executive stakeholders
• Capable of innovative thinking and bringing new ideas to improve current state
