- This is a hands-on technical position that supports SAP ECC 6.0. The ideal candidate should be an expert within all processes in the SAP Production Planning module.
- This position is responsible for designing, configurating, developing, testing, implementing, and training for all processes within the PP module based on industry best practices.
- The Senior Analyst position will be required to lead workshops with business partners to gather requirements to propose process designs and improvements.
- This position must understand all points of integration with relevant modules (MM, QM, FICO, WM, SD).
- When standard SAP configuration does not meet the business requirements, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for functional specification creation, building, testing, implementation, and production support throughout the development lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document requirements.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
- Design, customize, configure and testing of new business process improvements.
- Identify gaps and issues for current business processes.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Provide expert analysis on both new implementations and existing projects.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
- Support project data validation to support implementations through Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) process.
- Design custom reports based on business requirements.
Position Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
- Business and / or Information Technology degree preferred.
- SAP Certification (Not required, but preferred)
Experience
- 10+ years of professional SAP experience within PP Module.
- Multiple Full Cycle implementations in either a consulting or business role.
- S/4 HANA experience preferable
Skills/Knowledge
- Solid knowledge of SAP PP best practices and their integrations.

Senior SAP Materials / Warehouse Business Analyst (Hybrid, Seneca, NY, $114,600/YR)
A Functional Analyst in the IP SAP Operations team supporting the business in the testing, implementation, and support of SAP focusing on the Materials and Warehouse Management. This individual is expected to be an expert in SAP Master Data and Warehouse (WM) configuration with experience to guide the business in the use of SAP systems and processes related to the strategic goals of the business. Firm understanding of manufacturing operations and SAP business processes is required.
The individual must be able to independently drive issue resolution, develop business relationships, and apply best practice business processes and technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing business environment.
Experience must include designing, building and implementing functional solutions supporting Material Management and Warehouse Management in SAP, including integration with other solutions. The ideal candidate would have multiple full cycle implementations within the MM/WM modules in a lead role. The SAP Business Analyst must collaborate with functional leads, developers, and business partners to design, build, maintain, and enhance existing applications and develop new ones per business requirements. This position must understand all points of integration with relevant modules (SD, QM, FICO, PP etc)
Essential Responsibilities
Possess advanced SAP MM/WM configuration and overall product knowledge and have proven ability to share expertise within and across team and organization.
- Analyze, design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance materials and warehouse management functional solutions leveraging standard SAP MM/WM configuration and other system integrations where necessary.
- Develop program enhancements as per business requirements using SAP best practices
- Lead development process lifecycle for new/existing RICIEFW objects within MM/WM module. Including the blueprint, functional specifications creation, testing and execution phases.
- Manage master, operational, and warehouse data conversions from legacy systems to SAP
- Collaborate with functional and IT technical teams and Business SMEs to realize solutions for cross-functional areas (either integration with other SAP modules or external systems)
- Communicating and obtaining buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for SAP MM/WM design (covering people, process, and technology)
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance is maintained for all supported systems.
- Deliver solutions that can be scaled globally and maximize value and minimize duplication of solutions.
- Find new areas where standard solutions could be deployed.
Position Requirements
This role requires excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with both business and technical teams. For this position, the ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a global enterprise delivering ERP solutions as well as 7+ years of hands-on expertise working within SAP MM/WM and associated modules with a strong background in ERP application development, customizing and operation
- Multiple full cycle implementations
- Knowledge of EWM
- Blueprinting new warehouses with newly configured putaway and picking strategies
- Storage types
- Experience with RF gun customization and programs
- Building Fiori Applications to simplify warehousing functionality
- Transfer orders and their integration to the SD, PP, MM modules
- Cycle Counting and Physical Inventory
- Warehouse Monitor and building warehousing metrics
- Expert in design, build, and monitoring of SAP configurations and integrations across multiple systems.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical thinking, self-motivated, results-oriented team player having a track record of timely, high-quality deliverables
- Excellent verbal/written communications skills; strong presentation and negotiation/conflict resolution skills
- Interface with business analysts to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures to information technology
- Assist in defining technical requirements for on-going systems maintenance and future functionality
- Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners
- Travel is project based, but generally 20%-35%
