About the Job
- Create and document defined solutions to business requirements into IT specifications
- Complete configuration of designed SAP SD solutions
- Provide understanding of SAP ERP SD functionality and integration
- Communicate business process knowledge within Sales and Distribution
- Proactively progress project or support requests according to SLA to include configuration of solution in SAP SD module
- Focus areas include: Sales, Delivery, Billing, Billing Plan, Rebates, Pricing, Credit Management, Shipping and Transportation, and Logistics Execution
- Liase as the main contact for the functional business units and their process owners for relevant topics such as application support, change requests, enhancement and new process requirements
- Understand complex business processes and serve as subject matter experts
- Work proactively on continuous improvement processes for ERP system usage and functions
- Lead and assist projects of various sizes, containing internal as well as external team members
- Work with and guide external consultants in support cases and projects while ensuring best cost value for Ardagh Group
- Align with other IT applications to integrate business and process functions into the ERP systems, providing interoperability between multiple IT systems
- Create and execute test scenarios to ensure quality of deliverables
- Coordinate cross team integration activities
- Monitor and control outsourced application support services in cooperation with the ERP AMS team
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ten (10) years of experience within SAP SD
- Excellent understanding of Integration with other SAP areas such as Production Planning, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution, and FI/CO
- Experience in working in a highly customized SAP Environment with good debugging skills
- Knowledge of other non-SAP ERP applications, e.g. SAP integrated systems
- Proven understanding and knowledge of interfaces, IDOCs, and EDI integration
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business or other relevant fields
- SAP SD certifications
- ITIL experience
- Knowledge of SAP-Transportation Management and or integration with other Transportation service providers is an advantage
- Previous experience in an international company as a project lead
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
