Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Onsite Finance & Accounting (F&A) Specialist for Phase 1 of the SAP implementation project at the Track Level. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) and will support the end-to-end implementation process, working closely with both business and IT teams to ensure a successful rollout. This role requires in-depth knowledge of financial processes, SAP functionalities, and strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onsite Support & Implementation: Provide onsite support during the SAP implementation process for Phase 1, including the configuration, testing, and go-live phases.
- Requirement Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements for SAP FICO (Finance & Accounting) modules and map them to the system configuration.
- Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP FICO modules (Financial Accounting, Controlling, Asset Accounting, etc.) based on business needs, and support any customization efforts required.
- Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test cases for SAP FICO modules, ensuring they meet business requirements. Collaborate with the testing team to resolve any issues identified during testing.
- End-User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on SAP FICO functionalities to ensure proper usage of the system.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any SAP FICO-related issues that arise during the implementation phase and post-go-live support.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on the configuration, business processes, testing, and training materials for reference and future enhancements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules in an implementation or support role.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, along with integration points with other SAP modules.
- Experience in full-cycle SAP implementation, particularly in the finance and accounting domain.
- Proven experience in onsite support for SAP F&A processes and configurations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and IT teams.
- SAP Certification in FICO modules is a plus.
- Experience in the manufacturing or retail industries (if applicable to the client) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, or HCM.
- Experience in data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
