Objectives:
- Optimize Intercompany Financial Processes:
- Develop, configure, and support efficient intercompany processes within SAP FICO, including intercompany billing, reconciliation, and elimination for accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure Compliance and Data Accuracy:
- Align intercompany financial transactions with regulatory standards (IFRS, GAAP) and internal controls to support audit readiness and compliance.
- Enhance System Integration and Workflow Efficiency:
- Facilitate seamless integration of intercompany workflows across SAP FICO and related modules (such as SD, MM) to improve data accuracy, reduce reconciliation time, and support consolidated reporting.
- Provide Expertise and Support for SAP FICO Users:
- Act as a key point of contact for finance teams and end-users, ensuring they understand intercompany processes and can perform transactions accurately.
Tasks:
1. SAP FICO Configuration and Maintenance
- Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Controlling (CO), with a focus on intercompany functionalities.
- Set up and manage intercompany billing, reconciliation, and elimination processes to meet the company's reporting and consolidation needs.
2. Intercompany Process Design and Optimization
- Design intercompany transaction flows, configuring billing, invoicing, and reconciliation processes to streamline intercompany interactions and reduce manual interventions.
- Develop and enforce best practices for intercompany workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
3. Integration with Other SAP Modules
- Collaborate with teams managing SAP modules such as SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) to integrate intercompany transactions seamlessly across systems.
- Ensure the end-to-end data flow is consistent, accurate, and supports consolidated financial reporting requirements.
4. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
- Act as the intercompany subject matter expert within SAP FICO, providing technical and functional support for intercompany issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for discrepancies in intercompany transactions, performing testing and adjustments to maintain accuracy and compliance.
5. Data Governance and Quality Assurance
- Implement and enforce data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure intercompany data quality across GL, AP, and AR.
- Oversee system testing, including integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), to verify accurate intercompany data handling and reporting.
6. Compliance and Documentation
- Document intercompany processes, configurations, and customizations to support audit and compliance requirements.
- Establish policies for managing intercompany financial data to ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and internal control standards.
7. User Training and Support
