To be a successful SAP EWM Functional Consultant you will embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. Work you'll do/Responsibilities:
- Should have completed at least have 4 end to end implementation projects with at least 2 on S/4HANA and 2 on EWM decentralized 9.5 or lower.
- Must have worked on following EWM areas: Integration with ECC, Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Production Integration, Automation integration, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Kitting, Cold chain management.
- Must have experience in production integration and integrating EWM with automated systems like ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers etc.
- Must have experience in integration of EWM with MES and S4 modules like Manufacturing and Quality Management
- Must have good knowledge in following IM areas: Inventory Management, Stock transfers, Special stocks, Stock types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation
- Good Knowledge in integration aspects with other modules SD, MM, PP and QM
- Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare requirement document like functional specifications, writing test cases, preparing user training manuals
- Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tools (SNOW) and testing tools (Like ALM)
- Must have an experience working in an environment utilizing number of non ECC systems like MES, WES using interfaces such as PI, ALE, REST etc.
- Understanding of custom code along with basic debugging skills.
- Must have experience in working in onshore-offshore model.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for proposing solutions and guide the team members for blue printing sessions.
- Work alongside with onsite/offshore counter parts on daily assignments in an Agile framework.
- Take ownership of tasks right from design discussions to delivery of a specific requirement / area of work
- Presenting the solution in architect/design meeting and getting it approved for deployment.
- Responsible for preparing proposals and effort estimates for upcoming requirements.
Deliverables: - Design & Documentation: Create/change of FS / DS, Configuration document, GMP documents, test scripts etc.
- Testing – Perform and document Informal integration testing, Formal integration test etc
- Change management
- Create/change business process documents
What qualifications you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
What will give you an edge:
- Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.
- Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a highly regulated environment.
