Position Summary
The SAP Delivery Manager will be responsible for PMO activities for the SAP program and SAP Application Managed Services (AMS) functions. This role involves end-to-end management of SAP project deployments, including budget management, milestone tracking, and collaboration with IBM for project implementation and AMS support. The SAP Delivery Manager will ensure alignment between corporate objectives and the needs of the business, managing relationships with teams in Italy and other global stakeholders as necessary. This role requires a proactive Project Manager who can manage complex SAP initiatives, collaborate across teams, and optimize IT processes to support the organization's strategic objectives.
Essential Skills and Functions
Project and Budget Management
* Plan, execute, and deliver SAP project tasks within defined budgets and timelines.
* Manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures to ensure financial accountability.
* Collaborate with IBM, Key Users, and external vendors (e.g., ADP, P6) to manage project quality and timelines.
* Track milestones, prepare project updates, and conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
* Work with internal teams, parent company teams in Italy, and external partners to align SAP objectives with business needs.
* Gather and prioritize stakeholder requirements, translating them into actionable plans.
* Serve as a liaison between business Key Users and IT teams to ensure task progress.
* Support SAP Program Leadership with high-priority tasks as required.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices
* Identify opportunities to improve SAP AMS processes, driving efficiency and cost savings.
* Promote best practices in SAP program and AMS management, implementing lessons learned for future success.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally stand or walk; use hands to handle materials or equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, areas of the work environment may not be climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.
Education and Experience
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 5-7 years of IT project management experience, with a strong focus on SAP and AMS functions.
* Proven track record of managing large-scale projects involving global stakeholders and external vendors.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant certification in Business Analysis.
* Familiarity with application development methodologies and software development life cycles, particularly Agile and SCRUM.
* Understanding of SAP AMS and deployment best practices, with experience coordinating with multinational teams.
Travel Requirements
* Willingness to travel to the Yards as necessary during the week for meetings, workshops etc.
* Willingness to travel 5-10%, as needed, primarily within Europe.
