Job Objective:
We are looking for a skilled solution architect who will understand the existing landscape, project objectives, and help drive an efficient solution to overhauling our travel & expense system. The individual will lead the digital solution architecture for Carrier's SAP Concur project, with a hands-on style in partnership with various Corporate Functions teams, including Finance and HR. The candidate must have prior experience integrating Concur with both upstream and downstream platforms, with good understanding of Finance System integrations. This role will consult as a solution architect to enable our transformation journey.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as a key member of the Digital Technology project team, supporting primarily the SAP Concur expense management project, acting as a solution architect and working with our Finance leads, Technical Product Managers, corporate and business unit teams and third parties, to orchestrate digital systems architecture implementation.
- Lead Digital integration work streams as assigned and perform as the Solution Architect for Finance technologies supporting the SAP Concur implementation to sunset legacy tools and support global business transformation.
- Develop solution architectures and roadmaps in conjunctions with business processes as it relates to SAP Concur.
- Translate functional specification documents into logical, component-based technical designs.
- Support communication plans for timelines and change management activities related to enterprise application projects.
Qualifications:
- Prior hands-on experience architecting solutions using SAP Concur, Workday, SAP ECC etc.
- Experience implementing SAP Concur and has a deep technical understanding of integration points related to HRIS systems like Workday, SAP etc.
- Deep understanding and technical aptitude for system design and business strategy, and ability to translate strategy into viable technology solutions.
- Action oriented and results driven with an ability to drive new and innovative solutions in alignment to the organizations / functions strategy.
- Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with key business partners is essential, including senior executives.
- Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills are essential with proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Must be knowledgeable in Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies
- Demonstrates leadership, collaboration, hands-on approach, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, matrix organization.
