SAP Business Analyst – Supply Chain/Manufacturing

Location: Simi Valley, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst specializing in supply chain and manufacturing processes to join our team. This role focuses on optimizing SAP systems to enhance operational efficiency and deliver measurable business value. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will analyze supply chain workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and align SAP functionalities with organizational goals. This onsite position is based in an aerospace manufacturing environment and requires functional expertise in SAP, without the need for technical configuration or development.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with supply chain teams, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production, to analyze workflows and identify areas for improvement.
• Design and document optimized workflows using SAP modules related to materials management, warehouse management, production planning, and sales and distribution.
• Act as the primary liaison between business users and SAP technical teams to ensure seamless communication and implementation of solutions.
• Recommend best practices for leveraging SAP functionalities to enhance supply chain operations.
• Develop functional specifications for system enhancements and collaborate with SAP technical teams to implement solutions.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies within supply chain processes using SAP capabilities.
• Participate in SAP-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, and module enhancements for supply chain functions.
• Provide expert guidance and support to supply chain teams on SAP-related inquiries.
• Create and deliver end-user training and documentation to ensure effective system adoption.
• Collaborate with data teams to generate Power BI reports and dashboards within SAP or related tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain ManagementBusiness AdministrationInformation Systems, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a functional SAP Business Analyst specializing in supply chain and manufacturing modules, including materials management, warehouse management, production planning, and sales and distribution.
• Hands-on experience with SAP supply chain modules; experience with Infor Visual ERP is a plus.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
• Proficiency in SAP reporting tools and analytics related to supply chain operations; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
