SAP BRIM Implementation for HPE's digital transformation. This position will focus on implementing XaaS business models using BRIM. Come be a part of using the latest SAP technology and modernizing HPE's processes and user experience!
This position requires XaaS business knowledge, direct interaction with business and functional teams, hands on system configuration expertise in Convergent Invoicing.
As a technical member of the SAP BRIM team you will assist the HPE XaaS team in planning, delivering and managing large, complex full life-cycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the space of transforming the business into new XaaS business motions. You will be responsible for leading, designing, building and delivering such initiatives.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Understands and has experience with supporting an XaaS business.
- Conducts user grooming sessions and facilitates requirements gathering, functional and technical design, configuration, prototyping, integration with other applications
- Turns business requirements into technical deliverables
- Designs, prepares Functional and Technical Specifications
- Performs hands-on configuration and development
- Designs, prepares and executes unit tests
- Active participation in design workshops and the ability to guide business to utilizing standard SAP processes and translate business use cases into system requirements.
- Drives for adoption of standard solutions.
- Understand the e2e quote-to-cash processes within BRIM as well as the technology stack.
- Facilitates conversations to discover user's needs, identifies requirements, gather feedback, resolves issues, identifies opportunities for IT to enhance the user's experience.
- Communication
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key tactical leaders and business implementation leads.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and oral; with the ability to present to large groups with confidence. Communicates with senior executives on status and opportunities

- Ability to translate design documentation into business process flows, functional specification documents and configuration documents

- Ability to coordinate multiple development, testing, and production support efforts thru the SAP landscapes in an organized and controlled manner; demonstrated ability to clearly communicate and work cross-team with functional/project leads, business users

Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- 7 years of implementing SAP and 2 years of BRIM implementation experience
- Hands-on experience in crafting / developing / maintaining highly scalable and resilient system in the XaaS business models
- Hands-on end-to-end configuration and customization knowledge in the areas of Convergent Invoicing .
- Certifications in SAP CI & BRIM is preferable
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- BRIM XaaS revenue models (subscription billing, usage, overage, burn down, etc.)
- Must have hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Provider Order & Contract processing, including upstream & downstream integration
- Must have deep understanding of how Subscription Order Management with Usages, Billing, and Invoicing works
- Configuration of Consumption Item Class, Billable Item classes and Sub-processes, Billing process, and Invoicing Process as part of Convergent invoicing
- Billing Plan set up for different XaaS models including upfront and periodic billing models
- CI integrations with CC and SOM in addition to strong grasp on BIT type, BIT class and partner settlement design and configuration
- Strong experience in integration with SOM and CC
- Must have experience with SAP FQ Events for BIT enrichment, billing documents, and invoices
- Configuring CI with CC
- Define customer requirements and perform fit / gap analysis to standard SAP CC/CI processes within the SAP BRIM solution.
- Must have deep understanding for the quote to cash processes for subscription order management including: master data, solution quotes, orders, provider contracts and product modeling. Production Configuration is a plus
- Design system for future revenue models (subscription billing, usage, overage, burn down, etc.)
- Have specific knowledge of SAP Convergent Invoicing processes within the SAP BRIM solution including billable item management, billing and invoicing processes and integrations.
- Hands on experience and end-to-end deep understanding with Subscription Order Management, Provider Orders, Provider Contracts, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, Convergent Mediation
- S4/HANA processes, technical and integration knowledge
- Solution Manager and transport management experience
- Bonus of having knowledge of BAPIs, business events, user-exits in the CI area
- Experience with BRIM SOM, CM, CC, RAR, FI-CA are advantageous. High-tech experience in Provider Orders, Provider Contracts, Convergent Charging & Invoicing, Convergent Mediation are desirable.
