Baer is looking for SAP Access Controls GRC Security SME for a 6+ month Federal Remote Project.
Title: SAP Access Controls GRC Security SME

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain SAP Access Controls GRC solutions.
- Configure and manage user access, roles, and permissions within SAP systems.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of user access to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement GRC strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments and identify areas of potential vulnerability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR) and industry standards.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to design secure SAP solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and practices.
- Implement and maintain security controls, protocols, and configurations.
- Provide training and guidance to IT and business teams on SAP security best practices.
- Raise awareness of security risks and promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
- Monitor and analyze SAP security logs and alerts.
- Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with IT teams and external partners to resolve security issues.
- All roles are part time, 20 hours a week, either meeting/workshop hours will be 9-1 or 1-5, 5 days a week.
Qualifications:
- Resources should have DoD background and be Solution and Process Architect
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Access Controls, GRC, and security.
- Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, principles, and methodologies.
- SAP GRC certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
