Sanitation Supervisor - Krispy Kreme

We are looking for a sanitation supervisor to design and implement our company's sanitation policies. As a sanitation supervisor, you will be responsible for developing sanitation protocols in line with state health and safety regulations. You will also be required to conduct daily sanitation inspections and oversee staff training.

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
• Own facility sanitation program.
• Ensure overall success of sanitation program to meet food safety and quality requirements.
• Provide guidance on sanitary design of equipment and facilities.
• Work closely with other departments to improve sanitation performance indicators (start-ups, microbial monitoring etc.)
• Provide support during facility audits.
• Implement master sanitation schedule.
• Schedule deep cleans as needed.
• Develop a working relationship with chemical suppliers to improve sanitation performance indicators and manage costs.
• Coordinate and monitor cleaning schedules to ensure coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays with on-call capability as needed.
• Coordinating the services of contractors and external cleaning crews.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred:Some level of post-secondary education in food science or a similar field preferred but not required.
• Previous experience as a sanitation supervisor or lead preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
• PCQI and/or HACCP certification
• Pest control training.

Working Conditions:

• The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.
• Un-air conditioned production areas may reach temperatures of 100 degrees for more than one hour
• Must be able to work for extended periods of time in a cool environment.
