We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Permanent Sanitation Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This critical role is responsible for overseeing all sanitation processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining equipment, and managing pest control. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in quality control and sanitation procedures. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all sanitation operations to ensure cleanliness and compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
2. Develop and implement sanitation procedures and policies, ensuring they are understood and followed by all team members.
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to sanitation standards.
4. Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure that all products meet quality standards and are produced in a clean and safe environment.
5. Oversee equipment maintenance, ensuring that all machinery is cleaned, serviced, and functioning properly.
6. Manage pest control procedures, ensuring that the manufacturing facility is free from pests and other potential contaminants.
7. Train team members on sanitation procedures, equipment maintenance, and pest control, ensuring a high level of competency across the team.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure sanitation standards are met across all areas of the manufacturing facility.
9. Respond to and manage any sanitation emergencies or issues that arise, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
10. Continually review and improve sanitation procedures to increase efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sanitation Supervisor or similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
2. Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality control.
3. Proven experience in equipment maintenance and pest control.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Ability to train and guide team members on sanitation procedures and safety regulations.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to sanitation emergencies.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
10. Certification in sanitation management, health and safety, or related field is a plus.
