Our organization is on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Permanent Sanitation Manager. This role is crucial to our team, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. As a Permanent Sanitation Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sanitation programs, managing sanitation schedules, and working with 3rd party auditing companies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs) in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
2. Coordinate and manage sanitation schedules to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and sanitized regularly and efficiently.
3. Conduct regular sanitation audits to ensure compliance with SSOPs, identify areas for improvement, and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
4. Train and supervise sanitation staff, ensuring they are well-versed in SSOPs and equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to perform their jobs effectively.
5. Collaborate with other departments to integrate sanitation practices into daily operations.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest sanitation technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
7. Respond to sanitation emergencies promptly and effectively, coordinating clean-up efforts and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.
8. Maintain detailed records of sanitation activities, including schedules, audits, and corrective actions, and provide regular reports to management.
Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sanitation management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing SSOPs.
3. Proven ability to manage sanitation schedules and conduct sanitation audits.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to sanitation.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to sanitation emergencies.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey sanitation procedures and requirements to staff and management.
8. Proficiency in using sanitation equipment and tools.
9. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred.
