Job Title:  Sample Prep & Logistical Assistant

Shift Hours: 1st Shift, this role has a flex type schedule. Monday-Thursday 9 hrs. and Friday 4 hrs. 

Location:  26 Davis Drive Box , 13528, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709

• Receipt, homogenization, and shipping of agricultural research samples. Homogenization of samples involves using equipment under cryogenic conditions using dry ice and/or liquid nitrogen. 
• Requirements Proven record of reliability as a dependable team player that shows up to work each day. 
• The job requires candidates to be on their feet most of the day operating equipment homogenizing samples in order to meet the demand of internal and external customers. 

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to document activities accurately and responsibly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and good lab practices. 
• Ability to adhere to all safe work practices and wear appropriate PPE critical. 
• Favorable results on pre-employment drug test, background check, and compliance documentation.
• The manager is looking for someone that has worked in a production environment and is able to stand most time. The interview will be onsite.
• This role has a flex type schedule. Monday-Thursday 9 hrs. and Friday 4 hrs. for a total of 40hrs/week.
