Client Overview:
Our client focuses on creating exceptional online shopping experiences through innovative technology and creative content. They value quality, efficiency, and teamwork to help drive growth and build their brand. They are looking to add a Sample Management Assistant to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr
Position Overview:
The Sample Coordinator plays a key role in supporting eCommerce photography projects at the studio, ensuring the smooth execution of photo production schedules and deadlines. This individual is responsible for managing the sample process and maintaining efficient communication across teams. The Sample Management Assistant will work 2 days onsite at the Long Island City Office.
Responsibilities of the Sample Management Assistant:
- Receive and log samples in SharePoint and Titan to prepare for weekly turn-ins.
- Notify Merchants and Project Management teams of sample receipts.
- Resolve any sample discrepancies.
- Organize new samples by categories for Studio Coordinators.
- Sort and process samples for return to vendors or storage as needed.
Qualifications for the Sample Management Assistant:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and comprehension abilities.
- Ability to build relationships with peers, Art Directors, and Styling Teams.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic studio setting.
- Enthusiastic and collaborative attitude, thriving within a diverse team environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of experience in eCommerce, advertising, marketing, production, or sample management is preferred.
