Job Details
As a SALT Manager or Senior Manager, you will:
Provide multistate sales tax consulting services to clients in various industries
Identify and secure revenue for the SALT practice through client analysis and sales tax solutions
Lead staff meetings and manage project utilization and realization
Deliver nexus studies, exposure reviews, and remediation options for clients
Assist clients with sales tax audits, including petitions, protests, and appeals
Conduct state-specific sales tax training and partner with tax solution providers for implementation
Prepare and review fiduciary accountings and related filings
Advise clients on estate planning matters and develop comprehensive plans with other professionals
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics
CPA, EA, licensed paralegal, or licensed attorney preferred
Minimum of 10 years of professional tax experience, including leadership roles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial/tax applications such as CCH Suite of Tax Products
