Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Platform Architect. This is a hybrid role ideal for someone with a strong background in Salesforce administration, experience in development and proven, recent hands-on experience implementing Salesforce. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Salesforce platform. As an embedded member of our team in the initial platform deployment, which will be led by a System Integrator (SI), you will be responsible for ensuring we capture and retain critical knowledge in order to maintain and enhance the system in the long run. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of technical expertise in CRM platforms, leadership skills, and strategic vision.
Detailed Description
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
+ Lead the establishment of the Salesforce Centre of Excellence (CoE)
+ Perform user set up and maintain user roles, security and profiles in Salesforce Lightning
+ Monitor and report on issues, system configuration and maintenance processes
+ Create and maintain reports and dashboards according to user and project requirements
+ Create custom objects, fields, workflow and validation rules, list views and page layouts according to user requirements
+ Create declarative flows and screen flows for end user needs
+ Assist in the creation of organization-wide protocols for proper use of Salesforce
+ Work with internal/external team(s) to maintain integrations with on-site and cloud-based platforms
+ Maintain system security including sharing rules, role hierarchies and field-level security
+ Ensure that all Salesforce changes implemented follow Celestica internal processes.
+ Develop and maintain the Salesforce platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities.
+ Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards and best practices.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless platform operation and integrations.
+ Stay abreast of Salesforce releases and emerging technologies and work with vendors to troubleshoot and apply new features, upgrades and patches
+ Design, implement, and manage Salesforce solutions, including customizations, integrations, and data migrations once the initial deployment is completed by an external SI
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
+ Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Administrator certification would be considered an asset.
+ Experience in establishing and leading a Salesforce Centre of Excellence is highly desirable.
+ Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and development tools (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Lightning Components).
+ Proficiency in declarative automation tools (Process Builder, Flow Builder, Lightning App Builder).
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
+ Strong ability to build consensus and foster collaboration.
+ Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Physical Demands
+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Typical Experience
+ 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with a proven track record in platform administration, development, and solution design.
Typical Education
+ Bachelor's Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
