About the Job
This position will act as an expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud for Service Offerings and End User Support.
Duties Include:
- Train and support the Bureau of HIV and STI Programs (BHSP) on Marketing Cloud (MC) features and functions, including but not limited to:
- Train team on how we can use Journey Builder to support the Training and Events Unit with their communications related to events.
- Assist with altering data extensions and help train the team on adding/removing specific people.
- Assist with updating permissions— segregate different folders/components for different users and help train on this task. (Activating/deactivating accounts, resetting passwords/multifactor authentication, etc.)
- Identify solutions to solve complex problems leveraging Marketing Cloud features. (One pager instructions, facilitate training sessions and workgroups, etc.)
- Help update and alter automatic sends and provide training.
- Understand current Marketing Cloud implementation and assist with configuring features (like approvals) then provide training.
- Assistance with updating AMPscript and training on this process.
- Create additional templates as needed and train on this process.
- Create and present training resources for the basic Marketing Cloud functions in addition to the tasks outlined above.
- Consult on Marketing Cloud best practices, sharing tips/tricks for success.
- Provide root cause analysis of Marketing Cloud features working with BHSP and technical teams to isolate issues across Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Identifying solutions in Marketing cloud and mitigation strategies for identified problems.
- Help perform regular audits to ensure information is flowing over correctly from Service Cloud to Marketing Cloud, and problem solve integration issues if they exist.
Skills Required:
Extensive experience and knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and support.
Knowledge of coding, specifically with AMPscript, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
Experienced in facilitating training and publishing training materials.
Experience documenting processes and explaining complex information in a simplistic manner.
Experience with the bounce management process in Marketing Cloud and how to leverage with an integrated Salesforce CRM solution.
Experienced in production support and problem solving for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Service Cloud Integrations.
Be able to work directly with business/production owners on priorities and balance workloads.
Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to simply explain technical topics to a non-technical audience.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
