Description

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible in assisting the designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform (ascend application), joining a team with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The salesforce developer would ensure effective development, maintenance, and optimization, streamlining Advancement business processes, enhancing customer engagement, driving data-driven decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.

The requirements for this position will:

• Have familiarity/knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC) and other Salesforce products and features like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud with Experience Cloud

• Be proficient in Apex coding with significant experience in developing and maintaining custom Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages, with the ability to lead the development and maintenance of custom Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages

• Design and implement complex Salesforce Flows to automate business processes, ensuring seamless integration with other Salesforce features and third-party applications, optimizing existing Flows for efficiency and scalability

• Develop and configure Experience Cloud sites to enhance user engagement, customizing the user interface to meet the specific needs of the organization

• Collaborate with educational stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, supporting the implementation in support of Advancement

• Be able to structure API calls, provide code examples, or assist with troubleshooting when writing and making API requests within the Salesforce/ascend environment.

• Be Salesforce certified (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator) with additional advanced certifications, have experience with Salesforce integration tools such as Boomi and Salesforce Flows, being capable of designing and implementing complex Flows to automate business processes.

• Provide training and support to end-users on the use of Salesforce/ascend.

• Familiarity and experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketing Cloud Connector integrations.

This position is almost fully remote, they candidate should be able to come onsite once a week or so. This position will convert around $100k.

Communicates expectations and status around project tasks. Analyzes customer needs, generates scope and requirements of efforts and makes recommendations for a solution. Develops planned system architectures and designs. Keeps abreast of the latest application development trends and applies them when appropriate. Participates in knowledge sharing efforts within the team and across the organization and code reviews.
