About the Job
We are looking for a Salesforce Developer Lead with strong expertise in Health Cloud to design, develop, and lead technical teams in delivering innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Health Cloud, be proficient in Salesforce development, and lead projects from concept to deployment, ensuring scalable and secure healthcare solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of goals for the department and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.).
- Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of systems or products to enhance performance of program/project.
- Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Regularly employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions to solve difficult and moderately complex problems.
- Responsible for leading large or complex initiatives that involve technically challenging requirements at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products of the lower-level technical professionals.
Project Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, from requirements to deployment.
- Design and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations within Salesforce.
- Guide a team of developers and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain complex Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce pages.
- Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
- Optimize Health Cloud processes, including patient data management, care plans, and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Health Cloud and custom Salesforce applications.
Minimum Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
Project Specific Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in Health Cloud.
- Proficient in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Health Cloud features, including care plans, patient management, and healthcare workflows.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, preferably in healthcare environments.
- Experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Health Cloud, or Application Architect.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Experience with Salesforce Shield for data encryption and security.
Contract Specific Requirements:
- Remote position with occasional on-site requirements.
- Ability to lead and coordinate virtual teams.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
