Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, with a strong background in API integration, CI/CD processes, and proficiency in using GitHub. Familiarity with Flowsum is a plus. The Salesforce Developer II will be responsible for developing, configuring, and deploying custom solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and more.
- API Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- CI/CD: Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure smooth and efficient code deployment.
- Version Control: Use GitHub for version control, ensuring code integrity, version management, and collaboration with other developers.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, coding standards, and user guides.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and bugs within the Salesforce platform.
- Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance the Salesforce environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in Salesforce development.
- Salesforce Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer II or equivalent certification preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with Flowsum is a plus.
- Proven experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with other Salesforce products, such as Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Commerce Cloud.
- Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
