Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking Salesforce Certified Developer to join our team to support our government clients.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS’ capabilities to serve our clients.
Job Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Developer, you will:
- Work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
- Develop, test, document and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation using Salesforce declarative or programmatic development resources such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages and Lightning components.
- Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery using test code and unit tests.
- Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or a Non-Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent training in successfully completed Boot Camps. (Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years of relevant experience)
- 3 years of Salesforce development skills, including Apex, Visualforce, REST, APIs, SOQL, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Willing to learn and support Salesforce development and implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile.
- Willing to learn, work and collaborate with product owners, clients, other business analysts, Solution Architects, Release Managers, etc.
Nice to have skills/qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Communities.
- Consulting Cloud certifications (e.g. Sales, Service, etc.).
- Salesforce Platform Developer 2, Salesforce Administrator, and Platform App Builder Certifications.
- Experience working in a team-based delivery environment, preferable in agile scrum teams.
- Experience creating and managing sandbox and production environments.
- Strong expertise on various Salesforce.com APIs like SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs.
- Strong expertise in writing test classes and building triggers, batch classes, future methods etc.
- Experience in developing enterprise software using Salesforce.com platform using Lightning Web Component.
- Demonstrate adherence to all the Salesforce.com best practices.
- Experience in Software Development using Object Oriented Programming such as C++ or Java
- Experience in developing flows and automation using Salesforce.com platform.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $95K -$120K.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
