Position Summary: Perform IT application discovery and translate our Federal customer's requirements into Salesforce technology solutions. Participate in the end-to-end SDLC, perform analysis of business needs to include risks and opportunities, ensure all requirements are met and verified, end users are supported, and system documentation is created.
This business-facing and technology-facing role is a 100% REMOTE position working east coast hours. Due to government contract requirements, we are seeking candidates who are United States Citizens or Permanent Residents, located in MD, VA, D.C., TX, NC, NJ or FL and able to work on our W2 (salary + benefits package). (No 1099 or Corp-to-Corp inquiries will be entertained).
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate discovery meetings and coordinate with the business stakeholders to clearly understand the business operations and processes then identify application requirement needs.
- Gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.
- Develop discovery and requirements documentation for the design of IT applications.
- Documents requirements as agile epics and stories within JIRA repository.
- Supports identification of relevant stories to be considered for Sprints.
- Coordinate and facilitate discovery activities and meetings.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication and status meetings with stakeholders and executive leadership to understand the problem and needs.
- Ensure functional requirements and technical design discovery documents are compliant with Agency, USDA, and federal policies, including IT security.
- Coordinates with Federal technical leads and application developers as needed to ensure the requirements are fully defined.
- Provide weekly, and monthly project reporting in a timely manner, and provide all needed materials requested on an ad-hoc basis.
- United States Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Greencard) - able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- 8+ years of experience with Business Systems Analysis and requirements gathering, with at least 4 years of experience performing Business Analysis on Salesforce projects.
- 4+ years' experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle in an Agile driven development environment.
- Experience in JIRA.
- Excellent knowledge of requirements gathering techniques and ability to run client workshops.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements to solutions and the ability to work with technical teams to deliver these solutions.
- Excellent Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details.
- Weekly: Discovery meetings, coordination with business stakeholders and analysis of business needs
- Weekly: Develop and maintain IT system development artifacts including requirements documents, User stories, technical documentation, deployment documents
- Upon request: Develop communications for stakeholders and senior management project status meetings. Provide all necessary project reports in a timely manner.
- Upon request: Provide ongoing support, work with clients to fix any issues as they arise.
- Daily Scrum meetings
- As per project schedule: Architectural Review Meetings, Sprint Planning, Demonstration and Retrospective Meetings, Code Review Meetings
- Ongoing: Manage the User Story backlog to include backlog grooming and prioritization with the product owner.
- Salesforce Administration experience
- Proficiency in SQL
- 2+ years of experience in Salesforce Quality Assurance and Testing.
