The Purpose of Your Role:

As a Salesforce Business Analyst at Sentinel, you will serve as the primary Salesforce expert for the entire organization while focusing specifically on supporting Sales and Marketing teams. Working closely with our Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning Salesforce solutions with company-wide and departmental goals, driving collaboration, process optimization, and informed decision-making.
Reporting to the centralized IT team, you’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure Salesforce effectively supports our strategic objectives.
What You’ll Bring to Sentinel:
- Deep expertise in Salesforce, including configuration, reporting, automation, and user management, with a focus on Sales and Marketing needs.
- Proven ability to act as the organization’s primary Salesforce advisor, providing insights and recommendations that maximize its impact across all teams.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to bridge business requirements and technical solutions effectively.
- An ownership mindset to manage and enhance Salesforce processes, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Salesforce Leadership:
- Serve as the main Salesforce Business Analyst for the entire company, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Partner closely with the Salesforce Project Manager to deliver cohesive and strategic solutions.
- Sales & Marketing Support:
- Act as the dedicated Salesforce analyst for the Sales and Marketing teams, translating their needs into system enhancements and streamlined processes.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and workflows tailored to Sales and Marketing objectives.
- System Optimization:
- Analyze and document current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement through Salesforce automation and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by scoping, designing, and testing Salesforce enhancements and customizations.
- End-User Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for Salesforce-related questions and issues, ensuring swift resolution or escalation as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to end users to maximize adoption and productivity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Actively engage with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, define priorities, and deliver impactful Salesforce solutions.
- Participate in bi-weekly Business Analyst team meetings to share insights and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.
- Quality Assurance:
- Perform thorough testing of Salesforce updates to ensure they meet business requirements and function as expected.
About You:
We’re seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst with 5-7 years of experience and a passion for enabling Sales and Marketing success through Salesforce. You thrive in dynamic environments, take ownership of projects, and are skilled at translating business needs into actionable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Salesforce features, including declarative tools, reporting, and automation, with a focus on Sales and Marketing processes.
- Experience collaborating with Salesforce Project Managers or development teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and project management methodologies.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Nice to Haves:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst).
- Experience with Sales and Marketing tools integrated with Salesforce (e.g., Pardot, Marketing Cloud).
- Familiarity with workflow and integration tools
