About the Opportunity
The Team Leader is responsible for training, developing, motivating and evaluating assigned Account Managers. They contribute directly to Eagle Rock's success by mentoring their team and motivating their to hit their monthly revenue/pod targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and present marketing support tools available to the sales force

Responsible for supervising and training Account Managers for the following job functions.

Rotation, merchandising, computer skills, time management, communication skills, and selling.

Responsible for scheduling, and executing, required in-market activities.

Plan and execute a daily schedule of routes
-
Ensure follow through on issues deemed important to management, our customers, and suppliers
-
Occasionally will have to run routes.

Resolve retailer and consumer complaints in a timely manner

Responsible for the care of assigned company vehicle and all company equipment
-
Constantly monitor all goals to ensure sales and product distribution objectives are being met by each route

Building the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques.
-
Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales.

Analyzing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development.
-
Working to revenue targets and KPI’s as set by the sales manager.
-
Planning with suppliers and building relationships.
-
Attending relevant industry events to build business.
-
Working closely with other territory sales manager’s and brand managers.

Develop and implement plans to grow brands
-
Coordinate and implement the local execution of national and geographic marketing plans

Develop relationships to grow market share in segment

Participate in Team Selling with Sales Reps
-
Handle customer/retailer issues of local trends, company direction and community needs
-
Perform business analysis and use information in identifying additional opportunities
-
Plan for sales meetings and participate in presenting materials
-
Plan and execute special events/promotions
-
Coach sales team to recognize opportunities in the market

Prioritize daily objectives for team

Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
-
Three to five years of selling experience preferred
-
Must have a current, valid driver’s license and be insurable.
Skills

Strong sales and customer service skills.

Excellent communication skills

Strong knowledge of product characteristics

Ability to distinguish between brands through taste testing/sampling

Ability to speak clearly, read, write, and understand the English language

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Requires the ability to work independently, exercising sound judgement and initiative.

Ability to deal with problems involving multiple solutions in standardized situations.
Physical Demands and Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, pull, twist, bend, stoop and lift.

Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.

Must be able to communicate effectively with retailers and co-workers.

The history of Eagle Rock Distributing Company goes all the way back the Prohibition Era, selling non-alcoholic beer and Canada Dry Ginger Ale. Quite a bit has changed since then and today we distribute a wide-array of premium and craft beers, cider, import beers, wines, spirits, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and local products out of our locations in Georgia and Colorado. One thing that hasn't changed since our start in 1930, however, is our unwavering commitment to our employees and loyal customers.
Eagle Rock entered the Colorado market in late-2020, assuming distribution operations for Anheuser-Busch products across the state. Today, we have nearly 500 employees in the state, operating out of 6 locations, and continue to welcome new positions to support our growth in the state.

Compensation, Benefits and Application Window
Compensation range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year plus potential PFP $17,500, incentives, vehicle reimbursement, company phone, iPad & computer.
(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)
