About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Support Specialist to support our growing team of account executives. This position is essential in helping our account executives navigate the operational intricacies of their day-to-day processes, ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction and internal efficiency.
The sales support specialist will interface with both internal and external customers while performing a variety of ad-hoc and structured value-add processes in support of our overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and Communication
- Point of contact between customers and sales team, facilitating communication regarding new bids, updated pricing and various other customer needs
- Support internal operations teams by addressing customer communication needs as they arise
- Foster strong relationships with customers by actively listening to their needs and providing timely updates
- Insights and Reporting
- Monitor bidding reports and process to ensure customer needs are met
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to verify accurate purchase orders are being issued in timely manner
- Create ad-hoc reports to provide insights and support both the customer and sales team
- Document and vet scopes of work to ensure alignment with customer expectations
- Maintain records of customer interactions to support better decision making
- Networking and Relationship Management
- Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the company
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and other industry stakeholders
Requirements:
- Advanced Microsoft Office / Excel skills required.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Four-year college degree in business administration or equivalent work experience preferred
- Homebuilding experience preferred
