About the Job
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-orientedSales Support Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will ensure customer orders flow smoothly through our facility, managing the process from initiation to completion in a timely, productive, and cost-effective manner. You'll serve as a key liaison between customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to maintain quality and exceed expectations.
Location: Methuen, MA
Employment Type: Full-Time/Temporary to Hire
Pay Rate Range: $28.00-$31.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, sales teams, and production staff to retrieve and provide information.
- Prepare factory tickets, job orders, and job bag requirements accurately, ensuring manufacturing processes align with customer needs.
- Utilize systems like ASI for order preparation, acknowledgments, factory tickets, releases, invoices, and Bill of Lading.
- Monitor and manage customer inventories, work in progress, and receivables.
- Coordinate logistics, including obtaining freight quotes, arranging customer pickups, and managing shipment details.
- Handle requests for quotes and assist with research on customer payment issues for Accounts Receivable.
- Maintain organized, retrievable records of customer samples and related documentation.
- Collaborate with graphics, ink, and structure approval teams to meet customer-specific requirements.
Additional Duties:
- Provide insight into customer expectations to internal teams.
- Support sales by facilitating ongoing communication with clients.
- Address and resolve customer issues alongside plant management and quality teams.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer-centric operations or order management role.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with ASI or similar systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with job shop operations and logistics coordination is a plus.
