Position Overview:Munson Lakes Nutrition, LLC is looking for a dedicated Animal Nutrition Sales Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the nutrition sales team by providing technical expertise, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes related to animal nutrition and feed manufacturing. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, nutritional knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support:Assist the sales team with product information, technical details, and customer inquiries to drive sales of animal nutrition products.
- Client Interaction:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing solutions to their livestock production-related questions.
- Product Knowledge:Stay updated on the latest animal nutrition products and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant information to clients and the sales team.
- Training and Education:Conduct training sessions/workshops for the clients, prospects & sales team members the in various production topics and trends which benefits livestock production.
- Data Analysis:Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Marketing Support:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for animal nutrition products.
- Compliance:Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Business, or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in livestock production, sales support, customer service, or a related role, preferably in the animal nutrition industry.
- Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Knowledge:Understanding of livestock production, animal nutrition and dietary requirements, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Certifications:Relevant certifications in animal nutrition or sales are a plus.

Working Relationships, Autonomy, and Supervision:
The Animal Nutrition Sales Support Specialist must interact regularly and appropriately collaborate with all levels of personnel at all Munson Lakes Nutrition. Specifically, this role must have effective, daily contact with all sales, management and office employees. This role has frequent contact with the internal animal nutrition sales team and outside sales personnel and must be able to effectively build and manage these relationships.
