Responsibilities
Altec Capital Services (ACS), a division of Altec, is hiring a Sales Support Representative in Birmingham, AL. The purpose of this position is to deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects while increasing market reach and account penetration for Altec and Altec Capital's products and services.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the initiation of all new business sourcing, Lead generation, and Website Management
- Initiates booking of new business by compiling quotes and term sheets.
- Coordinates sales support for field account managers and their accounts throughout the sales process
- Monitors and enhances use of CRM (SalesForce) for account managers in the field.
- Assists with sales reporting for Altec Capital Services associates as well as Altec Industries, Global Rental, Altec NUECO, and JJ Kane associates.
- Works in tandem with Altec Industries Sales Managers and Area Managers in developing strategies to close business with their associates.
- All other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Bachelor Degree required; Finance or Business Degree preferred, with a basic understanding of finance leasing business
- Two (2) or more years of experience in Sales related to Equipment Lease and Finance Industry preferred
- Prefer a basic understanding of various businesses and/or industries gained through work experience
- Available for occasional overnight travel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
