Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Coordinator to assist our outside sales team in driving customer satisfaction and business growth within the industrial sector. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a natural curiosity, and the confidence to ask questions and solve problems. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations between the sales team and our customers, enabling our sales representatives to focus on closing deals and developing client relationships. This is a position that will require bi-weekly travel to RGA locations and riding with Outside Sales Representative. Assigned region would be from Ohio to North Alabama.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Outside Sales Team: Assist outside sales representatives by managing day-to-day administrative tasks, and ensuring all relevant information is available for sales calls and meetings.
- Lead Management: Assist in identifying and qualifying sales leads, conducting research, and gathering relevant data to pass on to the outside sales team.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and organize sales records in CRM, customer databases, and sales reports. Assist in preparing presentations for the sales team.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address customer issues by investigating problems and providing solutions, escalating to the appropriate team members when necessary.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with fabrication, logistics, and inside sales to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
- Support Sales Campaigns: Participate in sales promotions, marketing campaigns, and trade shows, as needed, to help generate leads and support the sales pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence in asking questions and seeking clarification to ensure the best outcomes for customers and the sales team.
- Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate curiosity about the industrial sector and product offerings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
- Experience in the industrial sector is a plus but not required.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position based in RGA store. Possibly remote position.
- Subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions
- Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places and vibration
- Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold or heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and very loud noise levels
- Office environment with 50% travel for meetings, events, or customer site visits.
- 50% Travel Required
