The responsibility of the IBM Public Cloud seller is to grow IBM’s Public Cloud adoption and mind share in a defined territory of the Northeast Region, U.S.
This individual will build and grow relationships, listen for and understand business needs and identify potential cloud, hybrid-cloud and/or multi-cloud solutions that addresses those requirements.
The IBM Public Cloud seller, working with IBM’s technical sales organization, is responsible developing, pricing, presenting, and closing deals.
Following the closure of an opportunity, the IBM Public Cloud Sales specialist is responsible for ensuing cloud consumption, while looking for new opportunities for growth.As a Sales Specialist you’ll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM’s industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.Your primary responsibilities will include:Grow IBM Cloud Revenue in NE (North East) territory.Solution-Selling Skills: Utilize solution-selling skills to identify decision makers, qualify opportunities, and foster long-term partnerships.Leverage IBM’s extensive partner eco-system: Collaborate with IBM’s diverse set of eco-system partners to attack client challenges and deliver winning solutions.Collaboration with IBM Sales Network: Collaborate with IBM’s sales network to execute effective sales campaigns and drive pipeline growth.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong sales background, be a self-starter and be willing to take an entrepreneurial view of his/her territory to drive new opportunities.
